The Canon PlotWave includes a large format scanner that can scan any document up to 36” wide that can be fed through a roller. All operations on the Canon PlotWave can be done at the control panel on the machine with a USB stick to upload print files or download scanned files, or from the computer in Rm 210.

Retrieving Scanned Files

You can scan directly to a USB thumb drive if you have one, or to a Public Inbox that you can access via browser from any computer in the lab or your laptop.

Retrieving scanned file via browser

01 - Go to http://10.1.186.11/ in a browser

• 02 - Click on the Open Smart Inbox link in the right column of the screen and select Public
• 03 - Select the file from the list in the Public inbox and click the Save button above.
