The Canon PlotWave includes a large format scanner that can scan any document up to 36” wide that can be fed through a roller. All operations on the Canon PlotWave can be done at the control panel on the machine with a USB stick to upload print files or download scanned files, or from the computer in Rm 210.

Scanning a Document

1. Insert Document on the original feeding table

2. Tap the Scan button on the control panel

3. Select the preferred scan settings on the control panel

4. Tap the green Scan button on the control panel

5. Remove document from the Originals Exit

Retrieving Scanned Files

You can scan directly to a USB thumb drive if you have one, or to a Public Inbox that you can access via browser from any computer in the lab or your laptop.

Retrieving scanned file via browser

  1. Go to http://10.1.186.11/ in a browser

  2. Click on the Open Smart Inbox link in the right column of the screen and select Public
