When the Xerox VersaLink C405 is out of one of the three color toners, you can still print to it using Black and White mode.

1 - Open print panel by going to File > Print or hitting ⌘+p

2 - On print settings panel scroll down to [Printer Options] and under that [Xerox Features].

3 - On the Xerox Features window, look for an option for [Xerox Black and White].

4 - On the Xerox Black and White option, select [On]

5 - Once [Xerox Black and White] has been turned on, click [OK] to go back to the main print options window and then click [Print] button.
